Rajive Sharma is an innovative leader and a subject matter expert (SME) in geomatics project implementation and execution. He holds Bachelor of Engineer in Electronics and Telecommunication. He has also received Master’s Certificate in Project Management from Schulich school of business, York University. He is a PMP (Project Management Professional) designation holder. He held leadership role in various companies as Director Grand Axis Solutions LLP, Vice President Genesys, CEO Gauss4D, Director Olameter, Director Aviation International Remote Sensing and others.
He is an associate member with Project Management Institute (PMI) and held many other memberships in esteem organisations such as IEEE, CanBim, ORBA, CREA, ISPRS, APCC, CIG, SPE, AMIE, IETE, RPAS and others.
He has more than twenty (30) years of geomatics industry experience. He has spent hundreds of hours assisting companies from around the globe such as Saudi Arabi, Bahrain, UAE, Kwait, China, Russia, Brazil, Alaska, USA, India, Switzerland, Italy, England, France, Norway, Malaysia and many other.
He has trained in many institutions such as George Brown College, Nova Scotia Community College, Ontario Land Surveyors, Indian Institute of Technology, Department of Science & Technology and many others.
He has been instrumental in many infrastructure & construction projects with Metrolinx, MTO, Municipality of York, Peel Region, Hydro Quebec, Hydro One, DOT, NOAA, OPG, FEMA, University of Florida, University of Texas, John Hopkins University, UK Environmental Agency, Cannon Valley Institute and others.
He has been actively involved in research and development to automate processes in extracting LiDAR data around the world and with NSERC.
