Prof. Gunho Sohn has been honoured with the Overseas Scientist and Engineer of the Year Award from the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST, 한국과학기술단체총연합회). The award was presented at the 2025 Canada-Korea Conference on Science and Technology (CKC 2025), held July 28 to August 1 in Montreal.
The award recognizes distinguished scientists and engineers who have made significant contributions to research excellence and to strengthening international collaboration, particularly between Korea and Canada. It celebrates Prof. Sohn’s work in advancing cross-national research partnerships and academic exchange.
